Who doesn't like homemade biscuits? If then the list of ingredients is short and of excellent quality and the preparation and cooking times are almost null we are even more motivated to find time to experiment (and taste!).
So here is the recipe for energy biscuits super fast to prepare with only 2 ingredients: banana and oatflakes! These cookies are also great for vegans and as a snack post workout for those who practice sports (slow glycemic index and slow-release energy).
Let's see what we need and how to prepare our cookies for the post workout.

Ingredients Energy Biscuits

(for about 10 cookies)

- 60g oatflakes
- 1 large and very ripe banana

Preparation of Energy Biscuits

Squeat the banana with the help of a fork or mixer but coarsely (until you get a kind of not too even puree), move it to a bowl and add the oatflakes. Mix well with the help of a spoon until you get a not too damp mixture.
With the help of a spoon take the desired amount from the mixture and form the biscuits of the desired shape and size (you can also make bars if necessary) and store them in a baking tray covered with baking paper.
Cook the biscuits for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C

These are the basic ingredients but you can make additions according to your needs and taste: you can add a teaspoon of cocoa or cinnamon; drops or pieces of dark chocolate, oilseeds (pumpkin, sunflower...) or chopped dried fruit (nuts, hazelnuts..).
For those who prefer sweeter flavors I recommend adding raisins or dates that naturally contain sugars (so as to avoid refined sugars).
